Overview
Tobias J. Hirshman is an Of Counsel attorney with decades of experience in state and federal courts. He focuses on the representation of plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home, and wrongful death matters. During his career, he has obtained numerous six and seven figure recoveries on behalf of his clients. He also represents plaintiffs in false claims act litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Toby served as a partner at a firm where he specialized in medical malpractice litigation. Preceding this role, he held a partnership position at another firm where he focused on defending Ohio physicians in medical malpractice litigation. Before his time as a medical malpractice defense attorney, he practiced law with the Appalachian Research & Defense Fund in West Virginia where he was involved in public interest litigation in public utilities regulation, environmental law, civil rights, and prisoners’ rights.
Toby, former head of the Medical Malpractice Section at the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ) and past member of the OAJ Board of Directors, also served as a Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys Board Member.
