Charlene M. Mazzone

Overview

Charlene Mazzone is a Litigation Paralegal at McCarthy Lebit where she specializes in the area of employment discrimination. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and received her associate degree in applied business with a concentration in Paralegal Studies from the ABA approved program at Cuyahoga Community College.

She began her career working as paralegal in a corporate insurance defense law firm for nearly three years. She spent the next twenty-two years working closely with the employment attorneys on age, gender, and race discrimination matters as well as retaliation, sexual harassment, and overtime claims. In addition to helping run and manage the demands of the employment practice group, Charlene has also assisted a number of the other attorneys in the firm with cases involving education and student defense, wrongful death, medical malpractice, corporate and business matters, general litigation, contract disputes, bankruptcy, and white-collar criminal matters. Her work with the attorneys spans all facets of the case, from prefiling to filing, to discovery, all the way through trial and even up the chain through the appellate courts.
