Nicholas R. Oleski is an associate in the Litigation group at McCarthy Lebit with a focus on debtor-creditor rights.  Specifically, Nick represents owners of distressed commercial real estate in connection with judicial and non-judicial foreclosure defense.  He also deals with general commercial litigation matters, including receivership proceedings and breach of contract cases, in addition to assisting the Firm’s Education practice. Nick handles matters ranging from student disciplinary matters and Title IX investigations to special education issues such as due process hearings and discipline situations. Through his work with special education issues, Nick consistently develops legally defensible IEPs and ETRs, while ensuring the procedural compliance of all aspects of IDEA.

While in law school, Nick served a judicial externship with the Honorable James S. Gwin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
