Robert R. Kracht is a principal at McCarthy Lebit and serves as chair of the creditor and debtor rights group. Mr. Kracht’s practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial law, business and bankruptcy litigation. He devotes the majority of his practice to the representation of distressed companies in debt restructuring, corporate reorganization, the negotiation of workouts and the prosecution of lender liability claims. He also represents financial institutions, private equity groups and hedge funds in a variety of matters affecting their businesses including Ch. 7 and Ch. 11 bankruptcy proceedings, successor liability defense and the defense of preference recovery and other avoidance litigation in bankruptcy proceedings.
