Two McCarthy Lebit Litigation Attorneys Successfully Reversed and Vacated $2.6 Million Judgment Against Client

David Cuppage and Nicholas Oleski, Principal Attorneys of McCarthy Lebit’s litigation group, succeeded in reversing a judgment that held their client liable for $2.6 million in damages.  The case centered around a financial dispute that occurred during the development of a new entrance on Mississippi State University’s campus.  The final judgment, issued by the Eight District Court of Appeals, cited the lack of personal jurisdiction over the actions initiated against our client.  As a result, the Eighth District reversed and vacated the previous judgments, which held the client liable for over $2.6 million in damages.
