CLEVELAND, OH (February 9, 2016) – McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Co., LPA is pleased to announce that Christopher J. Klasa joined the firm as an associate in the litigation practice.
Klasa has significant experience defending major corporations in nationwide mass and toxic torts and handles a wide variety of complex civil litigation matters, including professional liability, trade secret litigation and commercial disputes. He routinely defends financial institutions from common law claims and those arising under various state and federal consumer protection regulations.
Klasa previously worked as a litigator in the Cleveland office of a national law firm. He began his career in the legal field as a docket clerk at a boutique law firm soon after graduating high school.
Klasa earned his juris doctorate at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and his bachelor of arts at Cleveland State University.
He is an active member of the Cleveland community and serves on the boards of SPACES and Cleveland Print Room. He is also the associate producer of WCSB, Cleveland State University’s radio station, and is the immediate past chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts committee.
