Berkson and Salamon come to McCarthy Lebit as a securities litigation and arbitration team with decades of experience working together. They focus their practice on the representation of investors injured by stockbroker, investment advisor and insurance agent misconduct and handle a variety of cases arising from fraud or negligence.
Berkson is a principal attorney with McCarthy Lebit. He began focusing his practice in securities litigation and arbitration after gaining years of trial experience in business and personal injury litigation. He earned a business degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a juris doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Berkson is the president of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association [PIABA]. He is recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers, maintains a Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Rating of AV® Preeminent™ and has an Avvo rating of 10.0 Superb.
Salamon too is a principal attorney with McCarthy Lebit and primarily concentrates his practice in securities litigation and arbitration. He represents injured investors nationwide. Salamon is often sought after for his exceptional research and writing skills. He earned his bachelors of art degree at Kent State University and his juris doctorate at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Salamon was formerly on the board of editors for PIABA and often writes on securities law issues, both for PIABA and the firm’s securities litigation website, stockmarketloss.com.
