Litigator Nicholas R. Oleski Promoted to Principal

McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Co., LPA (McCarthy Lebit) is pleased to announce the election and promotion of Nicholas R. Oleski to Principal of the firm, effective June 1, 2022.  For the last 6years, Nick has been an Associate in the firm’s Litigation group, where his practice has focused primarily on general commercial litigation, criminal defense, and creditor/debtor rights litigation.

As a newly elected Principal, Nick will focus on expanding his growing litigation practice, which more recently has included defending high profile public officials, corporate executives, and specialized professionals (such as healthcare professionals, attorneys, and CPAs) that are facing significant criminal prosecutions. Additionally, Nick’s practice will continue to include a broad mix of general commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, employment litigation, and professional liability claims for individuals and business, both public and private.

“We are proud and honored to welcome Nick into our partnership as a Principal of the firm,” commented Managing Principal Rob Glickman. “This promotion is a direct reflection of Nick’s dedication and commitment to client service and the many contributions he has made to our firm.  We look forward to continued success working with him.”

A Macedonia city resident and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Nick earned his J.D. from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law after earning his bachelor of arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University.  While in law school, Nick also completed a judicial externship with the Honorable James S. Gwin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

In recent years, Nick has been honored with inclusion on the Ohio Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list (since 2019) and this year he was named to The Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch” list.  Super Lawyers® touts a selection process that includes rigorous research and peer evaluation, while Best Lawyers® distinctions are driven purely by peer review.
