Carolyn C. Soeder Joins McCarthy Lebit as Family Law Principal Attorney

McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Co., LPA (McCarthy Lebit) is pleased to announce Carolyn C. Soeder as a new Principal attorney for the firm, effective August 15, 2022. Carolyn will be joining the Family Law practice with Richard Rabb, head of the group.

With the addition of Carolyn, formerly of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC, McCarthy Lebit will expand offerings to our clients in need to family law counsel. As a member of the Family Law team, Carolyn will continue to serve as an advocate for her clients in all facets of domestic relations. Her practice includes dissolution, divorce, preparation for mediation and representation in mediation, child custody, parenting time, premarital agreements, child and spousal support matters, trial work, appellate work, and all aspects of post-decree modifications.

Most recently, Carolyn was a partner and lead of the domestic relations practice for the law firm of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo, Carolyn earned her J.D. from Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Since then, Carolyn has continued her legal work in domestic relations in the greater Cleveland area.

In 2019 she attended The National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s ABA Family Law Trial Advocacy Program. Carolyn is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and a 2022 graduate of the CMBA Leadership Academy. Currently, Carolyn is Board Member on the Board of Visitors of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
