Colin R. Ray is an associate in McCarthy Lebit’s personal injury and litigation practices. He devotes the majority of his practice to personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death matters. Colin has experience conducting and defending depositions and all phases of pretrial, as well as trial itself. He has successfully litigated a variety of matters on behalf of clients in state, federal and appellate courts. Colin also negotiates and successfully resolves matters for clients outside the courtroom. In each case,¬†Colin works closely with his clients and counsels them through all proceedings.

Although Colin primarily focuses his practice on personal injury, he also is an experienced advocate who has represented many wronged investors in securities arbitration and class action lawsuits.

Colin is a graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree at John Hopkins University. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and regularly volunteers with the 3Rs program, meeting with Cleveland and East Cleveland public high school students to educate them on the United States Constitution, improve OGT passage rates and provide career counseling.

Outside of the office, Colin is studying to become fluent in Spanish. He is also an avid baseball fan and enjoys playing in the Cleveland Young Lawyers Softball League, where his team was the 2014 and 2016 seasons’ champion.
