Robert T. Glickman is a senior litigation principal at McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Co., L.P.A. Since joining the Firm in 2004, he has tried cases involving business disputes, commercial disputes, construction, securities, employment, professional negligence and allegations of white collar criminal offenses. He also works closely with all areas of the Firm to ensure that clients benefit from his specialties and knowledge.
In 2001, Governor Bob Taft appointed Mr. Glickman to the bench of the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. As a former judge, Mr. Glickman presided over complex civil litigation cases and criminal cases, specifically felony and capital homicide. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Glickman maintained a civil litigation practice, served as a Special Prosecutor for Mahoning County and as a Prosecuting Attorney for Cuyahoga County, where he represented the State of Ohio in major felony cases at both the trial and appellate levels.
Mr. Glickman has served as an adjunct professor of law at Cleveland State University 's Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, teaching advanced trial advocacy. He is also a frequent lecturer and panelist at various continuing education seminars. In addition, pursuant to an Ohio statute, former Judge Glickman continues to serve as private judge hired by litigants to preside over cases.
